ELT Essentials

Overview

ELT Essentials will take you on a trip through the essential elements of good practice in English Language Teaching.

Designed for teachers with no or very little experience who want a sound understanding ELT teaching.

ELT Essentials consists of five 3-hour workshops:

1. Being a teacher / Key ELT Concepts
2. Teaching Reading
3. Teaching Listening
4. Teaching Writing
5. Teaching Speaking

Schedule & Workload

Five 3-hour workshops

Frequency: Saturday mornings

Duration: 5 weeks

Total: 15 direct input hours

Guided study: you should try to dedicate at least 1 hour per week to reading outside class times.

Prerequisites

Language Level
You must be at B2 level.

Delivery
Sessions will be conducted via Zoom.

Technical Requirements
Each participant must have:

- Computer with Camera and a microphone;
- An internet connection of at least 10 Mbps;

Minimum numbers
6 participants.
